Choice Freight will project manage any logistics requirements which includes Sea, Air, Rail and Road transportation anywhere in the world. Territories/Regions

Choice Fright operates into all neighboring countries as far afield as Tanzania, Uganda and Angola as well as the overseas markets should that be a requirement. When involved in the Shipping on behalf of our clients we are able to ensure that our expertise in handling all shipments are based on a door to door facility to our clients

Product Types and Handling

Choice Freight is able to handle any product from Food grade to Hazardous type cargo. Our experience within these more specialised industries is extensive. Any Warehousing requirements can be catered for regardless of product or area, including Sub Saharan Africa.

Vehicles/Equipment

We are able to supply and operate all of the following vehicles:

• Flat-deck and Tautliner Superlink vehicles with legal carrying capacity of up to 34tons and at times up to 38 tons in certain areas of operation.
• Tipper Trucks.
• Refrigerated and any Food Grade related Products.
• Bulk tanker, Food Grade, Industrial and Petro Chemical.
• Abnormal Vehicles to assist with any heavy earthmoving equipment and/or construction material for erection on any kind of site together with the rentals of Heavy Duty Cranes to assist with any loading and offloading of vehicles and equipment when necessary.
• Any other specialized road transportation mode that may be required by our respective clients and also subject to the project studies completed on such requirements.

Security/Satellite Tracking

All our vehicles are equipped with Cell phones and Satellite Tracking devices as well as Anti-Hijacking facilities. This is an option that is becoming more and more prevalent in our day-to-day operations and we are able to provide this as an added value service to all our customers.

Other Facilities/Services

Other facilities and/or services also include:

• Clearing and Forwarding documentation as well as the "ability to track" your cargo on a "door-to-door" basis.
• Packing of containers for exports by sea or alternatively any cargo to be transported by way of containers into neighbouring states.
• Shipping of large consignments of products on a "door–to–door" concept.
• Rail assistance should the need arise which is a transport mode acceptable to large volumes at any given time subject to acceptance and agreements signed with Transnet.
• We are also involved in the sourcing of Equipment and or Products related to the customer’s specific needs.
• Any packaging material that suits the customer's requirements. This service includes the manufacturing of certain products such as packaging materials based on the specific requirements of our customers, i.e. Bulk Bags for the Mining and Chemical Industries based on specifications to suit the customer's requirements.
• Screening, drying and bagging facilities. However please bear in mind that we have the ability to move our portable plants around to a site nominated by our customers.
• Sourcing and supply of containers on a permanent sale basis.
• Supply of staff and relevant equipment on site to assist with manual loading and offloading of cargo.
• Assist in the total site establishment for a customer on a new contract site should it be a requirement.
• The ability to store cargo safely whether it be within a secure warehouse or open area.
• The supply of security personnel for security requirements.
• Total Fleet Management of an existing fleet of vehicles.
• Facilitating the customer with the necessary documentation for Clearing and Forwarding of goods into other countries.
• We have been registered as an Exporter with the relevant authorities to enable us to export locally and/or imported goods into all other countries, whether it be neighbouring states into Africa or abroad.
• We are able to supply our customers with Import and Exports of various commodities, as well as assist with the offloading of large vessels with loose bulk products, assist with road transportation and/or railage to the various offloading points.

Insurance

Choice Freight has the required Public Liability and GIT insurance cover, and will be able to facilitate cover on our customers behalf if required. Choice Freight is also a recognized Insurance agent, and will gladly offer insurance services and quotations.

Training and Staff Recruitment

Choice Freight can facilitate training of staff, and also staff recruitment, with regards to a specific contract, and can liaise with Companies specializing in such training should it be a requirement of our customers. Once staff have been trained and approved by the respective customers we will ensure regular updates of the staff to ensure that they are informed of any changes with regards Legislation and also the day-to-day operation of our customer's business.
